For a commercial work, i needed big surf round waves but at beach then water slowly goes back. First i try with a rectangular object beats the water tank to generate waves. It was so hard to control and when i increase the resolution of sim, everything becomes splashy. Hard for to art direct. I did some research and i find the method of creating Houdinis shelf tool ocean surface generator. Then i use it as velocity guide to give movement of my flipfluid. Super controllable and very easy to art direct.
This is the result.. Now i will increase the res of sim and made the mesh. I will keep updating the journey :)

Blender Particle Tests
Lately, i am looking better, flexible particle, liquid and smoke simulation softwares which are not gonna bankrupt me. Then i found great particle animation tests with blender cycles render at youtube. I decided to check it. So far i love Cycles, but blender needs to get used to it.
